Careful with Handloaded Ammo!

Please make sure you're using factory loaded ammunition or reloads from a trusted source. What happened below was the result of a reloader pushing the limits of the recommended powder charge for that particular caliber.


This Smith & Wesson Model 629 .44 Magnum Revolver is having a great life until its owner visits the range one day to try out some new hand-loads. He aims and fires...Suddenly his gun goes BANG! in a very abnormal way. After experiencing a nasty blow to the forehead and hearing little bells and tweety-birds, he looks at his .44 and this is what he finds...
